“Before I started GLOW I didn't always pay attention to things. Like how much trash

was outside, peoples’ signs of help, being social, or other things. I just let things fly over my head. But now that I have learned more about these things at GLOW, I pay more attention. I make sure I pick up trash or just don't litter. I am more social and observant. I ask my friends and family if they are okay. Even ask that of people I don't know. GLOW showed me a different perspective of the world. GLOW also showed me how to be responsible. How to grow from things. Like being late, just try to come earlier than when you're supposed to be there. That's what has really changed.”

WHY GLOW?

GLOW414 Inc. is not just another youth agency. GLOW believes each person is unique, therefore making the drive and ability to grow as an individual different for everyone. At GLOW, we are driven and determined to assist with the advancement of disadvantaged youth by working on the social-emotional needs of our youth. We meet each youth participant right where they are. In doing so GLOW develops a plan that’s uniquely tailored for each participant. The curriculum is customized based on individual needs.

"I was a person who was always depressed. I was a person who never had confidence in me and a person who would always stick to myself and now since, I am still working on my confidence, but now doing better talking to other people."
